![]() I've been known to house 4 kids in a 3x3 bedroom, using two sets of bunks. I do use bunkbeds a lot, though, since I tend to keep bedrooms small. Anyway, if I do those things, I don't generally have routing issues in the sense of Sims taking very circuitous routes to get to things, and I usually have plenty of space to place stuff even if I don't use one-tile things (although those can be very helpful, as Jo said). I know it doesn't matter in SimsLand, but it still bugs me. ![]() I mean, how on Earth do you get big furniture on the upper floor(s) like that. You can also use spiral ones, I suppose, since more than one Sim can use those, too, but I have a thing about houses with ONLY spiral stairs in them. Mostly, I keep hallways/passageways 2 tiles wide and ALWAYS use modular stairs, open underneath or otherwise, since more than one Sim can use those at a time. I prefer to build on small lots, yes, but since I'm not a fan of a lot of outdoor features on a lot, I'll use most of the lot for the house's footprint.
